Tao Yuan Restaurant - Floor Manager
Tao Yuan Restaurant is looking for a motivated Floor Manager to join our team. Enjoy a base salary PLUS tips! You will be expected to oversee exceptional service to our customers while enhancing their dining experience. Familiarity with POS, reservation and waitlist apps a plus, prior experience in food service, preferably in a fine dining environment, required.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Over Front of House staff during service
- Provide table and/or bar service
- Answer menu questions
- Make drinks and/or drink recommendations
- Maintain table appearance
- Course food items appropriately
- Perform side work and end-of-shift closeout tasks
Requirements and Qualifications
- Prior serving experience required
- Professional appearance
- Knowledge about Asian cuisine and/or a willingness to learn
- Knowledge about wine and beverage pairings
- Attention to detail
- BABLO/TIPS certification for alcohol required per Maine State Law.
We are a tight knit group, where everyone works as a team doing what’s needed to provide exceptional service. We have a 5 day work week, Tuesday – Saturday, open for service 5pm to 9pm.
